This quilt is an extension of my series that began with But, I Tried to Remember. Long before I began that series, I was approximately a sophomore in college, and I spent a lovely evening visiting my oldest friend Kat (now my assistant) (friends since jr high) and her mom Diane, and we had a lovely evening dying things! Among them was the blue and white ombre thread on the far right of this quilt. How satisfying it is for this crochet cotton to find a home! How lucky I am to’ve had a dear friend for well over 2 decades.
