A vintage linen tablecloth from Laura and linen fabric from New York City’s garment district, and cotton thread

My dear friend Laura found this tablecloth, and give it to me in hopes that it would inspire a quilt. Within two weeks, this quilt was pieced. The charming vintage print features flowers, bees, and a chain link fence. The fence motif repeats in the three shades of gray fabric, the yellow line work, and the hand quilting done in a checkerboard-like grid pattern.
