As a Chicago resident, I love traveling on Lakeshore Drive. Connecting with nature, I find that the sky and water are ever changing, and simultaneously reliable. With hand dyed fabrics, and ombre stitches, this color blocked quilt depicts Lake Michigan in its many variations as glimpsed from my car.
